I've been using Cozy for a year and love it! It's very easy to use and they have great customer service although I've never had an issue.

What are you thoughts on adjustable vs fixed rate mortgages? Should I be afraid of doing anything with an adjustable rate?

@David Robins You've got some great goals, very similar to mine! My long term goal is also to have several multi-families and/or a large apartment complex. I'd love to get into wholesaling as well, I plan to start working on that in the coming months.

@joesplitrock I've been fortunate enough to get such great deals inmy area that I have rehabbed enough equity into the properties so that when I refi'd then into mortgages I had virtually none of my own money in the deal. This is why the BRRRR strategy is my favorite!

Anyone else out there using a HELOC on their primary residence to fund their REI? Both of my buy and hold deals were funded exclusively from my HELOC, which I then refinanced into a traditional mortgage. Because of forced appreciation, we were able to recuperate the total amount we had into them.
Has anyone else done a deal of this nature, funded solely from a HELOC?
Hey Stephen,
Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Tyler Hubarth and I am a buy and hold investor in Portland, TN. I grew up in White House so I am very familiar with the Sumner County area. Please send me a dm and we can talk more about partnering on a deal if you're interested. I have 2 properties that I'm currently looking at with great numbers. My wife and I are just getting started out as well, but we have learned so much in the past year by educating ourselves as much as possible and just jumping into it. Looking forward to speaking with you!
