@Maiddo Esho you are correct most lenders will not do more than 5 mortgages privately. I recommend you talk to some of the local banks ( not the big ones ) You will have more success. I would also recommend talking to funding companies that focus on helping real estate investors fund their properties ( You can take a look in the pro section)  

Regarding number 2 I know most banks will not deal with LLC. I would consult an attorney and a tax professional on how best to handle this situation, you need to be careful because if you don't do it correctly and if you move the property without thoroughly looking at the contract they can call the balance due so be careful.

Hi Y'all 

I have been going to the local raleigh meet ups and they have been great! 

I want to help new investors but I am at a disadvantage in this market as it is newer to me than where our current business resides in buffalo. 

With that said, I want to find a business partner in the area to create and grow a real estate business primarily focused on property management. We will also be purchasing some properties here for our company as well. The advantage that we bring is we have an established back office built in buffalo that could field phone calls from owners, tenants, and perspective tenants along with other back office tasks. 

I am looking to find someone who could also help us on the GC stuff as well. In the beginning I was planning to do a lot of the work myself because that is how we started it in buffalo until we found some good contacts.

Hello all! many of you know me from the Buffalo area real estate meet ups. A little more than a year ago my wife and I moved down to Raleigh from the winter tundra! My business partner is still in Buffalo running our rental business (as do I from here) but we are considering expanding down into this area. We are interested in learning about the types of deals that exist down  in this area. ( I feel it will be very different than buffalo) I would love to sit down and pick someone's brain about the market and can even share some of our experiences from up north. Also, for other investors we do plan to start managing properties down here in the coming months. We already have considerable experience in property management business.
