@Ken M.Yeah...that was an error. My phone must have autocorrected. I typed "an" and my phone corrected it to "man". Male, female, or alien, I have no preference.

Wow awesome, thanks! Any resources/ introductions are greatly appreciated. I'm absolutely looking to attend any and all meetups so I'm open to learning more about how I can be connected with Rex and Katrina.
Thanks for the help!

@Molly Arnott thanks for the feedback. I'm fairly new to the Treasure Valley so wasn't sure how it's done. I think I saw somewhere that they hold meetups at Fidelity National Title? I'll have to look it up. Thanks again!

@Jay Hinrichs thanks. I've been in Healthcare for a looong time so I'm good with that.

Hello!
Looking for recommendations for a real estate attorney in the Boise area who is knowledgeable and can close creative real estate deals such as lease options, sub2, etc.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Wow, oops. Just noticed the wording of my post. I did not mean to type "man"attorney. Darn autocorrect changed "an" to "man".

Are you tired of all the wishy washy-ness in real estate? The broken promises and selfishness?

Have you been looking for a community of like minded people who actually want to be of HELP and improve the local community?

If you answered YES to the above questions you may be a great fit for the new local real estate and business community my friends and I have started. This community grew out of frustration with the current state of what is going on around us everyday, and is for anyone who would like to meet and network with other folks in real estate and have a genuine interest in improving this great state that we live in.

Ideally we will get together bimonthly. Next meetup location will be at the Library in Boise at the intersection of Cole and Ustick.

Thanks for reading! :)

@Gibson Beus

I read a cool Japanese proverb the other day-

“A spoonful of sweat can save a bucket full of blood”

See, told ya it was cool.

This may sound corny but first taking the time daily to visualize where you would like to go in life is numero uno…

Understanding CONCEPTS is way better than following a particular guru. Don’t fall into the trap of being a guru worshipper. The world needs your spin on things not someone else’s outlook.

@Gibson Beus

First off, congrats on wanting to take the leap.

Here are just three ideas to get you on the right path:

#1- Consider getting multiple jobs and working your face off so that you can save up as much money as you possibly can. Since you are living with your parents communicate your ideas and goals with them often as this will facilitate a healthy relationship and allow for them to want to keep you under their roof :)

#2- Become a learning machine. Go to YouTube university and study all things finance, relationship building, as well as how to communicate with people.

#3- Do work on yourself and become a person of value. Don’t just want to be “in real estate”, but really think about your role and how you can make a small bit effective difference.

@Mark Weins

#1- Stop wasting money on lists

So you bought a list off of Propstream. That’s great, so did thousands of other folks.

Put yourself in the homeowner’s shoes- if you were getting spammed on the daily with real estate calls wouldn’t you be kind of..annoyed?

You have screenshots of your metrics but it’s difficult to peel back the layers to your questions without knowing what your scripting is like, offer template, etc.

Also, what kind of value are you looking to add to a homeowner? Wholesaling is not dead as some other folks here are saying however your methods are just outdated.
