@Nick C. I spent 200 bucks to go as someone's guest. Probably not the best way to spend 200 dollars I know, but it could be worse right? I completely felt what you said when I was sitting in that classroom--they were just trying to hook you up until you give them all of your money! Since I am very new to real estate, I'll study a little bit here on BP. Thank you for your advice!

@John Thedford They have these one-on-one sessions that the mentors would give you advice to achieve your investment goals. I didn't go to the sessions. But a couple times when I walked by, I heard their were advising someone "after you take this class, you can such and such"... very aggressive sales

Hey everyone! I'm brand new to the BP community and real estate investing. I recently had a chance to take the entry level real estate training from Legacy Education for a cheap price. No plans to take their advanced courses, especially after seeing the prices lol. The information they gave are very interesting. But I feel they only went over the tip of an iceberg of what you really need to know about real estate. So I'm trying to see if I can learn more on my own. Can anyone give me some suggestions on books/blogs or other forms of learning materials? I was thinking about becoming a realtor myself, and still planning to do it within this year. Thank you!
