Thanks Aaron, I am a novice but multi-family around here are far and few between and the asking price always seems way too high to cash flow. This one is even in one of the smaller city's near me.

Hoping to get out on the slopes soon. Would love to hear your thoughts on the area.
Hi Eric,
Welcome. I am pretty new to BP as well. I currently have a place in Thompsonville MI near Crystal Mountain that I am living in while I rehab. I am also actively looking for another investment property in the Cadillac area to Purchase with my VA loan.
@Charles Kao
I moved to the Traverse City area 6 years ago. I think there is a lot of opportunity here for more rentals in TC and especially the surrounding areas. I have also made some contacts with people who have experience in the local market.
Grand Rapids seems like the next logical step due to the larger population and growth.
Thank you all for the warm welcome. Soaking in everything BP has to offer.
Hello Everyone,
My name is Victor Wasson. I am an IT Project Engineer by day. My goal is to invest in rental properties in northern lower Michigan and the Grand Rapids area. I purchased my first property 2 years ago using owner financing. It needed quite bit of work but I have a ton building and trades experience from before I started working with my brain instead of my back.
I got a great deal with a low down payment and a short 5 year contract. I spent the first month making it livable and have been living in and rehabbing in my spare time since then. I knew I wanted to use it to fund my next purchase of another home/rental preferably a duplex, triplex, or quad, but had no idea how to do it.
I recenty hit the Google and stumbled across Rich Dad Poor Dad and was inspired to take active steps to change my life. In my search for education I found The Book on Rental Property Investing which brought me here. I am looking forward to learning as much as I can from all of you and would like start networking with others in my area.
