Hey Tracey, I work for a foundation company and it is possible to fix these type of problems with house lifting techniques (look up "slab jacking", there are many videos on youtube on how it's done).  However as you may imagine it's just as expensive as it sounds.    In my opinion this would be a deal breaker for my conservative investing strategies.    Good luck and hope this helps.
