Good afternoon Bigger Pockets community,

I am new to residential real estate investing and I am looking to connect with professional real estate agents particularly sellers agents. My focus is going to be on Fix/Flip properties in the Knoxville,TN area and I am in the process of building a team and looking for potential deals. I really want to learn the ins and outs of this business and if there is anyone on this platform that would be willing to help steer me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it. Good evening BP community,

I am new to the BP community and looking to possibly partner with someone in the Knoxville, TN area on a Fix and Flip project. I have knowledge in the realm of residential building and some experience in commercial excavation. I work full time but have most afternoons and weekends off. I really want to use my off time to start networking and helping anyone out there that is in the business of rehabbing properties. I figured the best way to do this is to try and partner with someone in the community on a project or to offer to help with an ongoing project. If anyone is interested in a joint venture, I can bring time and money to the table, as well as a bit of construction experience and hard work ethic. I hope to hear from anyone interested and thank you for everyone out in Bigger Pockets land who continue to bring really great content and information to the community.

Hello everyone in Bigger Pockets land!

My name is Wayne Norman, I am new to Bigger Pockets, and this is the beginning of my real estate investment journey. I am living in Knoxville, TN and this is the market in which I plan to start investing. I plan on investing in rentals and flips. I may try my hand at wholesaling but there are still a lot of uncertainties for me regarding that strategy.

I originally got the itch to start investing in real estate a few years ago but I wasn’t ready to jump in. My excuse was not wanting to get involved in something I had no idea how to do, and not wanting to lose money because of that lack of knowledge. 

I stumbled onto Bigger Pockets one day a couple of weeks ago on YouTube and now I’ve definitely got the bug to get this thing going. I am currently reading everything I can get my hands on relating to real estate and listening to every podcast that I have time for. 

I have experience in residential building and commercial excavation and I am hoping that those skills help me out in this endeavor.  

In closing, I am looking forward to meeting some like minded individuals in the Bigger Pockets community and hopefully gaining as much knowledge as possible. Thank you all for your time and the seemingly never ending amount of information.
