What is the recommended tool to use for receiving rental payments from tenants? Also what platform is recommended for tenant applications and background checks.

My short term goal is securing residential rental properties as my foundation.  Long term I would like to conduct a flip or two to build some additional capital for future purchases.  Just have to get the first property under my belt.

Thank you for the advice. I am currently spending a lot of time researching and learning as much as I can I think that's why I am becoming overwhelmed....too much information. If that makes sense. Does BiggerPockets over insight on building business plans? I am new to the site and have not learned all the ends and outs just yet.
