I am looking for an attorney in southeast Michigan that can help me and my partners set up a business structure, probably an LLC, to use for real estate investing. There are plenty of law firms in Detroit, but I would like to get a recommendation from some real estate investors. Anyone have a recommendation?

I am starting a real estate investment business with 2 partners, and we are looking for a good asset protection lawyer that can help us set up the appropriate LLC (or other entity). We plan to use primarily a buy-and-hold strategy. We are in Southeast Michigan, and would appreciate if anyone can suggest a local person or firm. It would be ideal if there was a firm that could provide the whole spectrum of real estate legal services also, but I'm not sure if that is realistic.

Hi all,

I am gaining interest in real estate investing, and I would like to join a local club. Does anyone have any experience with the Ann Arbor Real Estate Investors Club? I'd love to find a club that provides good info and networking.
