Has anyone used this service? ReadNotify.com? They are an e-mail tracking service. Can e-mail tracking be used to create a legally binding contract via your e-mail? If anyone is familiar with it? :D :D

:D A jv agreement becomes a legal agreement if your representative accepts it. My investor says it is possible to fax him a copy of the agreement, aside from the US mail. If i fax an agreement like this is it still binding? How would this work without written signatures? Please advise on telecommunicating these or even wholesale agreements? Thanks, Dan

:D In a JV/partnership deal what would you suggest as an escape clause if your acting as a property locator with an investor for a specific property and getting bought out (by investor) for your agreed upon percentage of that deal?

:D I am just getting involved with an investor/buyer as a property locator. I will be doing it as a partnership with him-submitting properties to him and if deal closes he buys out my agreed upon percentage of that deal. Are there any sample Joint Venture/Partnership agreements on BP?

:D CARLTON: I did as you suggested and found a previous investor who would prefer to do a joint venture/partnership deal as long as the deal make sense and investor buys out my percentage. In my case this would be as opposed to getting a "bird dog" fee.Otherwise the investor would like to engage in wholesale deals and pay commissions per agreement. Is there much of a difference between the 2-JV/partnership and wholesaling? Do you know of any "do it yourself" wholesale contract samples on the BP website that a beginner could use? What would your suggestion be for an escape clause-or do i absolutely have to have my own attorney draw these up. Please let me know. Thanks, Dan

I am refering to fee as "consulting fee" or "referal fee" . In a bird dog deal, where finder is not licensed, does asking for a consulting fee or referal fee instead of a bird dog fee make you legal enough to obtain a fee for locating a property?

Whats the difference between a "fee" an a "commission"? A referal fee, a consulting fee -however isnt a "finders fee" a term most local governments use to describe legitimate and illegitimate real estate sales? Thanks, Dan
