So I have a rental property in Iowa. I am sitting on approximately $40k in equity I would like to tap into at closing. The property is rented with quarterly cash paying tenants. How do I go about selling the property with a paying tenant in it and still walk away with my equity? This is going to be a FSBO as will. Thanks!

Hey Pete!!

I would consider creating a land trust for your property.  Simple, quick and complete privacy and more importantly safety!  e-mail me if you would like more info [email protected].

Hello all!! I am very curious as to if anyone has ever been sued for any kind of real estate deal gone bad or anything related to a real estate transaction. I like to hear about all the great and happy stories out there however this is such a sue happy society these days one has to look at the big picture. If anyone has been drug in to court or dealt with a BAD situiation I would love to learn how you dealt with it. Thanks in advance for information!

That's awesome Nathan! I'm sitting on my current rental now building a ton on equity to buy more. I have a few leads regarding some amazing rental properties in north Des MoinesD. I'm leaning towards the wholesaling niche initially then building my portfolio from there. I'll be in touch soon!!

I have yet to see any fellow Iowan's here which makes me think the real estate market in Iowa is very unsaturated with investors! Looking forward to reading as much as I can and learning as much as I can here. This is my new passion this WILL allow me to fire my boss!
