@Dylan Swanson  The estimated cost for repairs for the house is about $40,000.

@Ingrid J.  Thanks for the advise.  I'll definitely take a look at how this'll work.

Hello BP,

So I am at the stage of looking to repair/renovate my family house. Currently I'm the only one living there and paying for mortgage since everyone else moved out. The house is under another family member's name, but I plan to purchase it from them. I found a local hard money lender that will help for 70 percent of the ARV, but was wondering if there might be any other private lenders out there also that might want to jump in on this deal also. I want to either Rent it out or Sell it depending on the circumstances and how the figures will work out. I am still new to the Real Estate business so any advise on how to approach this will be welcomed! If it helps, I am from Minnesota. Please feel free to message me also with any detailed questions.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Xu and I am from Minnesota.  I am new to Real Estate and would love to learn as much as I can about it, mainly on flipping and renting.  My goal is to connect with others on here and find ways to finance deals so I can perhaps start my own business in the near future.  I hope to learn as much as I can from everyone here and hope to connect with future colleagues on here as well.
