@Frank Wong That is awesome advice man! Thank you for the really detailed response I just finished my first few classes at my real estate school and will be finished with the 75 hours of pre licensing next Thursday. Im very excited to get out into the field and plan on committing basically every single day of the next 2-3 months too build my reputation and start generating clientele. Im young and know I can really give myself a head start before I even get into my 20's if I dedicate as much time as possible into this craft!

@Mike Cumbie Thank you for the welcome! Great feedback, im most definitely going to be interviewing a bunch of brokers these next few upcoming weeks to find one that really clicks for me and one I believe I can achieve my goals with. Im very excited about the journey that lies ahead! Also it'd be great finding an agent moving down south who's willing to push me his leads for the next ten years haha

@Shannon Witters Thank you so much for the detailed reply! I've been hearing nothing but positive things from KW and will be talking with a few locations near me. I will definitely speak with them about a mentor who is also an investor as that could benefit me on both sides!

@Vaughn Smith Ok will do. Thanks for the feedback, typically what's a good comission split for an agent in New Jersey?

@Edgar U. For sure! I am actually going down to a meeting with a KW agent tomorrow to talk about how they operate in that specific area. I will definitely take that into consideration. Thanks for the feedback!

@Johnathan Boyle I'm definitely a self starter and am very motivated. I wouldn't mind having a mentor to learn from when first becoming an agent, it would be helpful to learn the game from someone who has the experience and results I want.

Hey guys! So i will be getting licensed by the end of October and am really having a hard time with deciding on a broker to start partnering with. I wanted to come on here and get some of the more experienced agents opinions on this. Ideally I would want to partner with a company that has great training as well helpful tools to help someone that's just becoming an agent like myself get started. My goal is too be able to work my way up to a 6 figure income in my first year and too absorb as much training and information as I can. Eventually i would also like to build up my own investment company for fix and flips as well as rentals and some wholesale deals! (Im based out of the Bergen county area in NJ!) With that being said, what do you guys think would be the best broker to partner with as a new agent who is hungry and motivated to produce and reach a 6 figure income in the first year? How did you guys find the broker that was right for you?
