Ditto. I'm also seeking a cost-effective (read: good but not expensive) handyman who can do it all for a rental house in Marietta. Can you DM me any recommendations you have?
Thank you in advance!

Hey Leigh Ann,
Thanks for the reco! I will email him and see what he's about. Given that he's an investor, not sure what kind of "low" rates he could charge, but I can always ask, right? :)
Ok, keep me posted on your guy (after you're done, of course). I've been let down by a couple people who claim to be good but then end up being unprofessional. Why is it so hard to find good people?
Btw, since I live in California, what other areas in the Houston area would you recommend for SFR rentals? So far we've purchased in Friendswood, Pearland and La Porte. I've heard Clear Lake is good, but typically we're looking for homes under $150k, so not sure what that limits us to.
Thanks again for your thoughts and your help!
Roger

Hi, I'm an out of state buy-and-hold investor and am having problems finding a good contractor/handyman in the Houston (specifically Friendswood) area whom I can trust. The ones I've used are either too pricey (handyman services who have a significant markup) or undependable. I need help, please!
Thanks!

I'm looking for handymen/contractors who can do it all in the Houston and Dallas areas for SFR's that I bought that need maintenance to make rent-ready (repairs, install flooring, appliances, repair siding, ideally even do plumbing and electrical)-anyone have any good recos at low prices? The typical handymen services charge an arm and a leg...
If you do refer someone actually good, go ahead add me to your network as I'm looking to expand my portfolio and networks in these areas so perhaps we can end up doing business together!

Any recommendations for smart and strategic real estate agents in Baltimore or Houston? I am an investor looking to buy multiple Single Family Homes around the $150k range and would love someone who understands an investor's POV.
Thanks!

I am selling property in Southern California and looking to invest in other markets. Are there property investors in Atlanta, Orlando, Houston, Omaha or Baltimore who can comment on if their particular market is a good one for rentals? We're looking primarily at single family homes and looking to maximize our cash flow and long-term appreciation. If there are investors who are doing well in other markets I'm open to hearing about those markets too! Thanks in advance!
