Does anyone have any suggestions on what to look out for since i'm outside of the city limits? Also, is there any suggestions on how to keep property taxes down. my short term goal is to build a duplex or triplex, by using the land as collateral and pay it of in 2 - 5 yrs. once paid off, My Long term gold is to continue to build and develop the land. i figure when its all done i will have about 15 duplex or triplex.

there is a company who is buying property, to build houses in this gated community. They offered me $13,000 i said no. they just made another offer today for $20,000 i said yes. i figured since, I'm only $10,000 into the property that's not a bad deal. but after thinking it through, i realized i want actually walk away with that much. because of Survey, closing cost and title insurance. is it reasonable to ask them to pay for those things, so i can walk away with $20,000? And what other things should i be on the look out for?

I thought that was kind of strange; because I would have like to went inside of the property with her. anyways all this is new for me so I didn't want to look stupid when she got back with me. that's why I asked if there was a cost associated
