Thanks @Chris Seveney! I've heard of Propstream, but not sure about the other two. Do you have any recommendations for any free or low cost alternatives for property research?

@Ned Carey I think I have a gist of what kind of property I want to look for. Thank you so much for all these responses; it's very helpful! :)

@Ned Carey I'm curious, what other indicators do you recommend that I look at (aside from tax assessed value) in terms of finding good properties and is there specific platforms or tools that I can use to start out to look up these property's indicators?

@Ned Carey aside from tax assessed value (can this value be found on zillow/redfin?), what other indicators do you recommend that I look at and is there specific platforms or tools that I can use to start out to look up these property's indicators? (sorry, I'm asking a lot and I'm genuinely really curious about how tax lien investing works since other RE investment don't really fit my budget to start out)

Hey @Ned Carey thanks for this in-depth response! I've heard people said to look into Parcel as well. Where do I find that and what is that exactly?

Hi all! I just got started with tax liens. Any recommendations on how to search for properties that could be good like what tools do you recommend and what factors to look at when researching. What county or states do you recommend a beginner with a small capital to start investing in (landlord friendly states/county would be preferred).
