Good morning all. Currently own a home in Seminole, FL(Pinellas County) and we are going to be moving in the next few months. We have lived here for 8+ years and the numbers make sense to keep it and rent it out. Looking for the best property management team to manage this. There are dozens available in the area, we have called a couple and received bad vibes asking "too many questions." Hopeful I can get some good leads here from someone who has found the good and bad already. Thanks in advance.

Good morning all,

I am looking to update my front door at my primary residence but this may be past my level. Have a single door now and looking to upgrade to a new door with sidelights. Block home but have a section that is wood here 78.5"x81.5"(wood is not in good shape). Looking to see if anyone has a good contact that can do this type of work. Called a local "door" company but they say this is structural work and will need a GC for this. Door will be 1,000-2,000 but looking to get an estimate on labor to see if this is worth while. Will be selling home in the next few months so not looking to spend more than the ROI. Good house, good area very very bad entry door/curb appeal.

Thanks.

Thank you, Paul. I reached out to a few more resources this morning. Just need to find a person who can give real input and not a sales person.

Thank you, that would help a lot. We were planning on driving over this weekend to look at a place but I may hold off on it until I get some more info. I do not want to waste time or get emotionally attached to something until I get some more info. Biggest fear would be going through a life changing event like this (with a family), only to be devastated in a year-5years with a terrible decision. End up with a back yard and a dock overlooking a big dirt field, at least that is what Google is making it sound like is happening right now. Do you have an agent you could recommend that is investor friendly and knows the area quite well? The house we are looking at is FSBO, but from my internet stalking/research the owner is an REA. Thank you.

Good morning everyone, looking for some help or input. My family and I currently live in Saint Petersburg, FL and looking to move to a different region of Florida. Looking to live on a lake with more land out of the busy city to raise our family. I recently began looking at places near Keystone Heights, FL and found some waterfront homes that we really like, and reasonable prices. However with more research, it seems like there is a real crisis and the water and lakes are "disappearing." Is this a real threat with the areas around Geneva lakes? Is anyone more familiar with this? Is this a cyclical thing that should/will be resolved? May be a good time to get a deal or get fleeced trying to buy "water front" property as an out of towner. Would love to hear from some locals if possible on the "save the lakes" as well as a possible relator as to how the market is and if there are deals to be had. Please let me know if anyone has questions or input. This will be an area for raising a family, not investment. Thanks to everyone for even reading this.
