I also own a farming business (www.HealthyHenFarms.com) with my wife and 6 kids where we produce and direct market organic, pasture raised chicken to our customers in the Raleigh area.I've dabbled in real estate off and on for 20 years, mainly turning primary residences into rentals as we have moved across the country (NC, CA, GA, VA) over the years.

I had learned how to sell options, how to remodel my house, how  to day trade, how to start a self directed ira, I started a Physical Therapy clinic, mined bitcoin, made a few websites, I think I may have even learned how to raise chickens/honeybees/ and grow organic vegetables.

The one with particularly ugly brick(black, oranges, yellows) I matched the brick to Behr Pumpkin Butter and painted the wall around the fireplace as an accent and painted the rough cedar mantel something different, lighter creamy yellow.

The days you are not busy doing real estate stuff you should plan on being at a kids ball game, a pancake breakfast at the local Lions club, a school play that you donated $50 for, getting your car washed at a local fundraiser by the soccer team, volunteering at a local chicken BBQ, taking your dog to agility classes and meeting people etc etc.
