Pricing psychology is real.

I know about the psychology behind selling so I was prepared for the up sell pitches.

@Luis Roel yes i do have an LLC and I agree, hard money, even if I took a larger amount, to me is something that doesn't seem appealing due to the high rates You have some psychological fear of debt....There is actually good debt and bad debt.  

I think it's a psychology thing.

Basically, reversing the psychology by telling ME I had to BUY in order to network properly here.  

I want to get my license to learn about the industry and understand what is going on when my partner and I talk to realtors (currently I am a nanny with a master's in counseling psychology wanting to get into real estate investing....it's a bit of an odd switch). 

Edit: Unsure if this is best suited in Starting Out, or Investor Psychology...My wife and I are pretty new to this whole thing, and we have a lot to learn.

I understand that every market and the consumer psychology within a given market varies, but a general consensus pertaining to the feasibility of direct mailing would be appreciated.
