It was actually surprisingly easy to find because the smell - once I got in the attic - was pretty strong and I literally just followed my nose until I found it. 

It's actually the land of the "fee" :)  Jokes aside you can often get away with things like that even if they're not permitted provided you don't put noses out of joint (with neighbors/tenants etc).

They over insure, pay out the nose each month for that coverage, and then use the policy for every minor issue that's covered.

If you want the stairs done in laminate, you're going to pay through the nose and it's going to be ugly if it's done correctly and safely.

We kept our noses to the grind stone and slowly started to climb out of the hole.

For now though, from what you've described, you'd just be biting the hand that feeds you and then chopping off your nose to spite your face. 

The small base cabinet drawer did not close, as it kept bumping against the counter's nose.

Pueblo has its problems there is no question about that. but i believe we can come back to a great city again, it would help if we could get our brothers and sisters to the north of us to stop looking down there noses, and start looking at what is good for Pueblo is good for CO. did you know there are plans to start the building of a new rail mill in Pueblo for $750 mil that is 3 to 4 years of jobs for contractors. i have worked full time in both Springs and Denver and anyone that says they dont have the low income areas like Pueblo are kidding themselves. 

I don't know what your market is but $86k/unit looks nose bleed expensive to me without spending any money on them.

Just saying ,the expenses for out of state properties is hard to manage when you have no physical, eyes on, level of work, or professionalism done,, until a problem really surfaces and then you've paid thru the nose, jump hoops to figure things out after the fact.
