I look at every situation as if it is a "temporary" or "permanent" problem- and unless you think covid never goes away and the lack of housing supply (at least in my market) can solve itself without new construction then it'll self correct.

If it was your money, you wouldn't have to pay the bank for it.The property is just the temporary resting place for your assets, until they can collect "friends" (added equity), and can be accessed again for use at a higher value than if they stayed as equity in that original property.

@John Teachout I agree probably not worth my time/money to litigate and that best approach is likely to go with the emotional appeal of upholding the contract, good faith, golden rule, etc.Yes it's a $15k fee so technically I could afford to come up $10k to appease him.
