I believe Habitat for Humanity has done a fair amount of work there. 

The apt I'm in is not feasible for my cats as they must go in and out because I do not deprive ANY animal of their natural habitat and natural living.My criteria:•My credit is considered to be fair to good.

I saved around $600 on the roof by buying around 20 bundles of roofing from the local Habitat for Humanity Restore that the roof contractor was able to use and match...Actually, overall the roof came in more expensive than I thought it would...I had only budgeted around $175 a square...The electrician who worked on the house works for a commercial electrical subcontractor and moonlighted for us for around $25 an hour.

Some ideas for you while is school:- start a real estate club in your school or financial - join (or start) your school’s Habitat for Humanity club.

They are nailed to the front edge of the cabinet with finish nails. 2) For particleboard cabinets, a piece of relatively thick particleboard (1/2"+) goes on first, and then a veneer of real wood (1/8" or less) gets glued on top of that, for a better appearance.With either kind of cabinet, depending on what the flooring is, there is sometimes a quarter-round molding in the corner between the toe kick and the floor, installed with finish nails.If you have time to stop by a Habitat ReStore, they sometimes have complete sets of older cabinets that were pulled out of remodels. 

Most decent sized cities have a ReStore that is run by habitat for humanity.

We use Habitat for Humanity Restore stores almost exclusively.  

It might also help to shop at a place like a Habitat ReStore - they often have hardware that came out of older houses, so it's a little more likely to find a match there. 

For the new installations where there were not windows we went to Habitat for humanity and got some nice quality brand new windows in the sizes we wanted and now the house has new windows for penny's on the dollar.
