It's not the longshoremen or the fireworks that's bad, it's the fact that it's under LAHCID (formerly known as LA Housing Department, but they got caught up in too many scandals and misappropriations of funds etc so changed the name to LAHCID[LA Housing and Community Investment dept!!!)

What the bigger name schools give you is networking opportunities and a name brand education to put on your resume.Another thing to consider is that the unfolding college admission scandal could really damage the value of big name schools.

We will see how this plays out after the first front-page news security scandal hits the mortgage industry, following in the footsteps of the IRS, Experian, your health insurance carrier, etc...
