If I could go back in time and give myself one piece of advice, it would be exactly that.Find a free room you can book at a library or something, post it online, collect attendee's names and emails, and be consistent.

@Paul Timmins , I have been an attendee of some of the local REIAs in my area and I just recently become a member to one of them, with plans to become a member to at least one more by the start of the year.

There was a wealth ok knowledge between all the attendees and best of all there were no hidden agendas with someone trying to sell you something.

I took the time to go, listen to what they discussed, and stood up when they asked if there were any comments from the attendees.

It can also be a way for the host agent to get contact information of any attendees that are looking for a house but do not have a buyers agent.
