They have some good speakers and get a wide range of attendees who do a lot of interesting things.

They're in Denver this weekend so unlike the fast talking seminar promoters who ask for a credit card in just about 2 hours attendees get to spend 3 days with them.

I have gone to more of her meetups, including field trips, in last 2 years than any other meetup group.Because of the content (private lending masters) there are attendees with significant success (I.e. have disposable money to invest for the right opportunity).We (Janice and I) have done quite a few hikes together: lost coast, Havasupai (highly recommend for any hiker/photographer), multiple sections of PCT, San Gorgonio day hike, started JMT together (finished with her son and 3 other boys, epic trip), too many local hikes to list. 

But...BP has a discounted room rate for attendees.

It's insane to see the growth in attendees at our church from the first week of January to the first week of February.

There was a wide array of speakers and many high level attendees.  

We also have a ready market for short-term stays: students who attend the university during the summer for shorter courses, conference attendees, sports camps, etc.
