Oh right - I have no money, and if I had the money to buy a community, I certainly don't have the credit (I had lost my job at one point, and with the layoff and loss of income went the good credit..

I'm beginning to think that there isn't a single place in Colorado where you can cash flow on small multifams 😔.My company is starting to lay off people and I'm putting together contingency plans.

Layoffs and retirements.

But lets see if there're new rising of migration wave from tech layoffs.

Sometimes I think of performance reviews, metrics, efficiency studies, downsizing, rightsizing, layoffs, project reports, reorganizations, mission statements, vision statements, slogans, politics, etc I shudder and say thank you to RE passive income for setting me free. 

Lay offs also take time to impact the economy.And, on a global scale, we cannot forget that the world economy is intertwined and there are developing countries and fast growing nations whose GDP and whose economies are shrinking for the first time in decades.So for the moment, I think cash is kind, and it is wise to keep money ready for the upcoming opportunities.

No more meetings, conference calls, mission/vision statements, budget reductions, lay offs, reorgs, down sizing, status reports, presentations, project reviews, HR shenanigans, doing more with less, office politics, performance reviews, etc.

@Ola Dantis well I caught the REI bug a while ago but never acted on it....now there's more motivation after a year long layoff.....and yeah, 2008 who can forget?
