I'm using Chris chicos absentee owner postcard and yellow letters and results are good..I'm not saying there are not motivated sellers, I was just wondering if anyone follows up with the crappy leads because I would hate to be leaving money on the table or wasting money on mailing..it would be nice to monetize every lead if possible.

Obviously there is a better chance to monetize leads that don't fit your exact model, but there is the downside of spending a lot of time dealing with leads that don't fit your exact model.

The response rate for Post Cards in my area is abysmal which of course translates into fewer deals.What I did to offset the cost of the letters was learn how to monetize more of the leads, either through referral or follow up.
