I could learn how to manage contractors, budgeting, scheduling, etc. and also (possibly if it makes sense) to renovate homes with the intent of making them "green" in some shape or form, or, healthier homes per se. - I apologize for the long story!

I have to come to embrace my new moniker ( slumlord).

The community where I have my homes has its problems, but it is also well run, embraces the short term rental model, has hired people to accommodate the check in process (gated community with 5300 homes).

@w phillpots, as a newbie, which I consider myself 19 months into investing, but not new to entrepreneurship, you have to understand quickly that a lot of people won't embrace your newbie status into this space, especially when you come with a mindset of leveraging technology, automation, and anything online related to conduct business that's adverse to that archaic models that didn't allow space for everyone to succeed, let alone participate in.

Embrace them, learn from them, and continue forward.

Embrace websites like BiggerPockets. 

Really really wish BP would embrace creating a glossary and leading the way to defining these terms for the industry.

Money can pay for better medical care, a personal trainer and healthier food.

Embrace change and learning as reality and "surf" it to learning, networks, systems, software, processes that culminate in diverse earning opportunities.
