Actually, Jefferson County is the biggest county in Alabama.  

If you're going to George Jefferson it (google the Jeffersons if you are too young to get the reference!)

Hamilton  always pays rent early but once Jefferson wanted a light bulb changed and Washington wanted to add a pet to his lease.

There is absolutely no appreciation in most upstate markets, yet we are burdened by the same draconian restrictions imposed upon the downstate metropolis.

However, those corrections will be a lot more visible in the metropolis areas such as New York and Los Angeles. 

Some neighborhoods to look into are Aviation Sub, Bagley, East English Village, North end, Morningside, Jefferson and Chalmers, Grandmont Rosedale, Rosedale Park and many other pockets. 

Bamberger would not recognize it as the metropolis it was.
