Underwriting seems to be a critical skill in terms of analysis of a potential deal and I want to learn/read the best tools to excel; especially if I'm looking to scale and partner with others that have capital to compliment the underwriting skills I'm looking to learn.Any books/podcasts/websites you'd recommend.

If you’re new to real estate investing and haven’t yet read it, I highly recommend Brandon Turner’s The Book on Rental Property Investing.

Congrats on stepping into this role, sounds like you’re approaching it with the right mindset.One thing that helped me early on was getting hyper-local.

Hi Michael,I would start by reading JScott's Book on Estimating Rehab Costs to learn the basics.

If there are any other strategies or people in departments that have tips for me I am open to learn them I have done extensive research before to get to this point.
