No it's your friends boomer parents giving the downpayment to your Gen Z/millennial friend to buy that house to their newlywed son with their new daughter in law/wife being emotional and running up the price because it's a "dream" house.

Still today, most (but not all) rentals are listed by local real estate agencies and rented a week at a time.The week-at-time approach of the old system is tempting, but I think because of my age and generation (Millennial), it also seems out-dated to me.

At the same time Millennials almost suddenly decided to go from being a generation of renter to buying their first home.

All the non-millennials are concerned about OPs financial future while the younger folks all want to model this approach. 

Rarely does one need an advanced degree to enter such fields, but colleges have convinced Americans they do as a means of raking in more federal dollars.Many millennials and Gen Z “zoomers” struggle to find jobs in their chosen fields of study and don’t want to work in others—or in jobs they view as beneath them.

Recent studies show that 42% of millennials actively look for homes with ADU potential.

I'm a millennial (one of the larger populations) and we just had our first kid last year.

I lease to a lot of millennials and typically they have not yet acquired all of these items.  

And I’m just not buying that 40 year old millennials will be living at home and not starting families forever.
