The rugs, wall paper and some cabinets are outdated and it looks like it was a bed and breakfast years ago. 

He’s been renting part of the land out to hemp farmers.

Such a letdown, and there is no way to brush it under the rug.

A toilet paper holder broken off the wall, blinds and door frame chewed on, area rug in the living room peed on in 2 places and the hardwood floor underneath needed a lot of work to get the smell out. 

It was far more time consuming than I ever could have predicted for furniture, rugs and decor.

At this point, it’s easier to ask upper unit to use rug or something above your bedroom.
