There's a huge cottage industry trying to stoke fear in landlords and selling all kinds of expensive ********.

A vacation cottage is fine.Goals:- Have somewhere warm to escape the MN winters more often- Return more than I would in cash- Build equity / buy @ a discount even if it means some remodeling- Spend more time in the sun and less in the officeI'm in the research phase right now and would really appreciate any resources you could point me to or any words of warning.  

I'd do cottages and RVs. 

After looking under the carpets and paneling, we found pristine shiplap on the walls, ceiling and original hardwood floors... we immediately choose a cottage modern style for our design. 

One must ask themselves if they are in need of two bathrooms 4 bedrooms or a small cottage just for two.

What is the best Philly Cheese Steak spot for us to try while we're there? 

New roof system with trusses, New drywall, insulation, HVAC with ducting, wired smoke and CO in a cool 40's cottage all completed already.
