Interestingly, the exterior photos appear to be a bold orange, but it is actually a darker shade of red.  

From a first glance, even though the shades are closed, the property doesn't look all that bad on the outside.

I have the same backsplash but shades of blue.

It's hard to tell from the pics but the tub and the soap dishes seem to be some shade of green.

I also had a close comp to mine for sale, 1 block over, NO abatement (also darker finishes vs. mine were lighter). 

No shade on his program as I've heard podcasts he's been on and I'm sure he's a nice guy but I think that 11k may be better applied to an actual deal and getting hands on experience.

Hi Thomas, if it were me, I'd start looking at these areas that are darker blue.They seem to skew to the East, West, and South.
