Does anyone in this part of the country where the humidity and temperature is high, have these mini splits?

Your lease probably does not address a minimum temperature she should keep the house, but going forward you should.

Insulating pipes is rarely going to prevent frozen pipes when temperatures get very low; a source if heat is the only real solution when temperatures get low like when the “polar vortex” occurs.

More cost effective, if someone time consuming, would be to change the most vulnerable pipe to high pressure PEX; I've seen demonstrations of PEX expanded absurdly beyond its size, with pressure and temperature, before busting.

Talk to some mortgage guys and get the temperature on that right now.

Floating snap lock floor is floating so it moves and temperature differences will make the noise more noticeable.  

There is a small group of locals who are anti-STR but the good majority are pro-STR due the the fact that STRs bring a ton of revenue for local businesses and jobs for locals.Regarding summers, the temperature is the hottest in August and can get up to 100 degrees so STRs with pools do better in the summer.

I can save money on electricity when no one is there and monitor temperatures to make sure I don't see one of my HVAC units struggling so that I can arrange for service before there is a failure.

Please make sure all the bulb temperatures throughout the house are the same so that it feels inviting and cohesive from room to room. 

I am in Oklahoma where temperatures are often 100 + in the summer.
