And you shouldn't care at all2. always put yourself out of the contest, using "we" or "the other owners" etc. or quoting policies that you use to treat every tenant the same way. 3. keep the relationship with any tenant as formal as possible, it is a business matter.

If it was for the price you paid, you essentially will need to show it was not worth what you paid for it for a number of reasons.it is certainly easier to contest when you do not have a purchase agreement for the assessed value.

If it's in one, you can contest it and change it if you get an elevation survey proving you're above the flood zone. • Don't listen to people who aren't investors themselves, you'll get your fair share of discouragement from certain people. • Always visit the market you want to invest in and drive the streets before you invest there. • Don't compile all your team members (property manager, contractor, agent, etc) into one person.

@Bruce Lynn I'm aware of an empty lot that I believe would not be contested by the owner in a trespass-to-try situation, because it's current titled owner no longer exists, because it is an HOA that has been legally dissolved, and in theory, leaves this as an abandoned property, with either nobody having claim, or everyone in the neighborhood having a claim.

If you failed to sweep and mop the floors, the Landlord can hire someone to do it for you.You could possibly contest some of the charges, but the judge would want to see some proof that you were either over-charged or falsely charged.
