Being a real estate investor and business owner, operating thru S Corps, C Corps, and LLC's, I know of lawsuits filed against the LLC and the owner personally, an S Corp and the owner personally, either by piercing the corporate view, or for the owner being personally negligent.

You don't want to interchange you as an individual with you as owner of your construction company or risk piercing the corporate veil (depending on how your construction company is formed).
