The ones i have seen work though are in Silicon Valley.where housing is so expensive..  4 young male computer programmers to a room.. they live at their work .. if they work for google they eat there for free so they dont even cook..

The idea of running a little water to keep things from freezing in the cold is common.It seems that practice was a contributing factor in this mess: https://amp.bangordailynews.com/2018/01/31/news/midcoast/maine-mobile-home-park-residents-weigh-lawsuit-over-water-problems/I'd look into a thermostatically controlled heat tape system on all the under trailer supply lines, along with insulating the lines.

There are plenty of great paying jobs that don't require college... so if you are a self-taught computer programmer, or whatever, college may not add value and your job may provide you the income necessary to launch a side career in real estate investment.
