So, I don't know if it is a function of their management or a function of the investors they manage for, but tenants have a negative perception of their properties.  

One of my specialties is to understand the reality of the world's perceptions and overcome those disavantages, particularly with Technology which was why having an IT background became a really good asset for me.

Also when someone shows up to see your place and see 3 other groups of people there that also want to see the same place you start to create a lil old fashioned term called “supply and demand” or Atleast the perception of it.

If the STR market does better than your low expectation, you'll be elated.The supply of STRs has rapidly increased in 2021 & 2022 because of the perception of easy money.

Now let's not forget we ARE on a site called Bigger Pockets; there's going to be a natural bias here relative to the societal mean. 

It has a lot to do with perceptions.

But when you do not have to pay out to Uncle Sam that drives your dollars a lot further.You also are perceptive in respect of the list of buyers needed - and that is a priority in making things come together.

The rest, as they say, is immaterial and perception, in my opinion.I've also been in the "professional working world" for 12 years, and I can honestly say that your college, to a recruiter, is like "oh, that's a good school" or "oh, i never heard of them" -- once you get the experience nobody gives a damn about your GPA or your school.

It is disappointing that so many BP people are so absolutely naive with regard to real crime, the perception of crime, what is "good", what is "bad", who is "good", who is "bad", what the police can do, what the police will do, what the police should do, and on and on and on....DL
