I was born in Rochester, NY on 1978 from Greek  parents.

The Greek housing market may be in the gutter, according to recent reports, but you wouldn't know it from the booming business that realtor Stelios Miliarakis has been seeing.

I am not sure this is the healthiest way to spend your money.

But when I look up listings of properties, what I see is complete Greek to me.

I had no choice but to go along or not sell our house, because EVERYBODY was doing it.The Greeks in Greece never thought the bottom would fall out of a rotten society.

As my ancestry is Greek, my favorite historical example is an ancient Athenian general and politician named Themistocles.

But my loathing for institutions like Deutschbank, BNP, Société Générale, Credit Suisse...that's of a different order, because I'm Greek-American.
