I certainly understand how the elderly can be taken advantage of as its mentioned many times about how they are targeted for any number of scams / swindling. 

Keep in mind that once you have such knowledge and confidence, your presentation is not to take advantage, not to swindle, and not to bail you out, rather, educate them on how they can make great returns in an area they may not have realized existed before for them.
