If the crawl dries to a point of being dusty for long periods of time the mold may go "dormant" where new spore production is concerned.

And if you do flipping, you might want to make the LLC dormant (or look into Series-LLC if that's an option for you).

Is it possible that the cheap-o cleaning got some dormant dog smell wet and all it really needs is to finish drying out again? 

Once mold is completely dry, it goes dormant.  

Michaela, I see this is an older post, but I thought it was time to wake it up from its dormant state.

Turns out it is VERY hard to prove who brought them in - apparently, the bedbugs can stay dormant for quite some time, so unless the tenant has lived there for 10 years, you may have a very hard time conclusively proving to a judge that they weren't there before the tenant moved in.  

I can see such a venture as a re-awakening of my creative mind and body, which is something that has been dormant over the last few years.  

When the hvac goes off dormant mold gets humidity and a food source...paper or wood to get it going.
