I wouldn't be surprised for 5 or 6 of them to not even realize this is an anti-cabal thread and for them to land with "Columbus is booming, rents are outrageous!"

Here’s my personal opinion, it’s much riskier than the OP wants to acknowledge, but not necessarily a bad strategy like the “anti” crowd states.  

It's not an anti-newbie thing or anything. 

It is so funny how all the responders in this (and other threads) who are for wholesaling are wholesalers and they all blame BP for being "anti wholesaling", blame agents stating they don't want more competition, and blame NAR because they want to get more dues and keep their prominent position.

These kinds of anti-landlord are using Marxist ideology when the communist country is even more capitalistic than the capitalist country.

How do we make our portfolios anti-fragile?

We though the same, but it seems more and more laws are coming out anti landlords in general, add prop 19 to the mix is a disaster for mom and pop landlords.

I am certainly not anti real estate.

Applying legal and common standards will reduce or remove almost all of the tenants that will cause the majority of the anti-social behavior.
