I currently have this portion of a clause in my leases: In the event that Lessor contracts to sell the Premises, Lessor shall have the option, in its sole discretion, of either (a) requiring Lessee to attorn to the purchaser and recognize that purchaser as Lessor under this Lease or (b) terminating this Lease upon not less than sixty (60) days’ notice to Lessee..I don't necessarily want to alarm and or potentially lose a great tenant by saying "Hey I might have to make you leave because I actually want to live there!"

I understand legally, this notice can be sent in regards to substantial construction (permitted) work, which I'll be undertaking.My two questions are:- If they cant find housing in those sixty days, for any reason, do I have any legal obligations/burdens?

I have a decent paying job making around sixty thousand a year but it's a very stressful and unfufilling job. my plan is to buy a duplex and house hack so I can afford to pursue a different career but not sure whether to be a real estate agent or broker. for now I'm just concentrating on saving some Capital for when the real estate corrects it's self I will be ready to buy
