Just from my basic research, it seems as though Galveston continues to break previous years tourism spending records.

. : )Also, in Hawaii at least, the Hawaii Tourism Authority keeps track of all sorts of visitor statistics like how many visitors came to the islands, which islands they stayed on, whether they stayed in hotels, condos, or with friends, whether their stay was for business, pleasure, blah blah blah.

Hanging my license with a boutique real estate office that would embrace real estate investing and allow me to wholesale would be ideal. 

Because of the high mountains, nature, and skiing, most of the towns rely on tourism.

@Mindy Jensen  ya that's a tough one expecting the brokerage community to embrace you when you want to pay 2k BAC on a 700k deal... of the public just see's their stuff on line tells their agent I want to see that house.. and agent is stuck.agents won't show their listings if they have a choice I am sure of that.But it is Ameruca so free enterprise at work.

Now we also have tourism, the U.S. government/military, and State government (which gets at least 90% of its funding from OIL).
