Culture of the group - is it established & maintained?

You don't want to be miserable with where you're choosing to grow your portfolio, and many of these places have very different climates and very different vibes (ie things to do, culture, etc). 

Hello, I'm brand new to real estate investing but have always had a desire to be apart of this magnificent culture.

@Rick Roach it’s the norm not to move out until marriage in my culture; they’d be weirded out charging their son rent.

Thanks for everyone's input....I think this might be culture thing but I still like to "save face".

@Adrian Chu  We have to be very aware of the cultural climate we live in - know the rules, abide by them, and proactively lobby for -and make the case for common sense laws and against restrictive rules that ultimately make it more difficult and expensive for the very ones who need the most help. 

The same is true for men, boys, women, and girls who are socialized in a gender-biased culture. 

Cultured marble. no grout lines. solid flat surfaces that are easy to clean.
