I’m curious — for those investing in multiple markets, do you usually look for local lenders or are you comfortable working with out-of-state funding partners?

Prefer to keep my distance from Airbnb and the Airbnb crowd.

Eric (CEO) and Peter mentioned that we need to find business partners who are high net worth individuals and are willing to co-sign the loan/mortgage with us.

You will need an individual who would consider it but odds are slim.

I am not an expert on FHA loans but being a self employed individual the lender may require accountant prepared income statements- I said may Because it's something you may want to look into. 

I’ve been picking up performing first-position notes lately and noticing a split — some folks love the steady income, others prefer the quick capital.

Too big for individual home owners.  

I would prefer to put a lot less down for a first property.
