It is the Service Industry (restaurant, nails, dry cleaners, small retail shops, gyms, elective health care etc) that has been severely impacted.  

The purpose of the social distancing is just to slow the progression to avoid overwhelming the healthcare system.

There are a handful of hospitals within 5 miles of the area and there is big need for travel health care professionals over there. 

We have some retired relatives that have been struggling financially as their increasing health issues have led to soaring health care expenses, even with good insurance, a modest pension and social security.
