I understand that lay people can't 'diagnose' but as a landlord, you can save yourself a lot of grief by being informed about the different types of personality disorders and recognizing the signs-- especially of the cluster B disorders.

But from my research, you can not disqualify someone for drugs or alcohol felonies because it is considered a "mental health disorder" You can always find another reason not to rent that doesn't have anything to do with that. :)

@Lucas Carl The only tenant I ever had that rose to that level of crazy was NPD (narcissistic personality disorder); he actually told me that-- and I believe it because he had all the symptoms.

I'm actually concerned about younger newbies, a study was done in 2011 I believe it was, 60% of college students were identified as having some type of personality disorder, 60%!
