It does not make a lot of scenes for those outside Canada to invest here.

There is no need to live close to your investments, but I do recommend that you visit a market to build a team and to understand the local scene. 

Even before COVID-19 came onto the scene, it has been a prevailing theme over the last year or two that cities and states are pushing more laws limiting the abilities of landlords to collect rent, evict tenants who don't pay, renovation and increase rents, and other regulations regarding how their business is operated. 

If you’re a known agent and have your assistant who is also an agent collecting personal info from the buyer after to agreeing to a deal while you are simultaneously firing up an MLS listing behind the scenes (expecting that I probably won’t see it because the only way I do is if I get app alert) - I think it’s more relevant than being a hairdresser.

Worcester itself is going through a great gentrification and who doesn't love brick buildings with mixed use properties. lots of colleges and just waiting for a big art scene to take place..

How ironic of the timing of how this China Wuhan COVID-19 came on on the scene in December and China downplayed the news of it in January, then did an internet blackout on all reporting.  

It's close to home, with many hospitals, burgeoning culture and arts scene, and commuter rail in the works.
